"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...

"It was an amazing week in La Plagne. Perfect location, ski-in and ski-out, apartments were clean and cozying. Very friendly people on reception met us and helped with accommodation. I was a little disappointed that the apartment did not have such things as slippers (floor was quite cold without it), soap, WiFi, dishwasher detergent. It is not very expensive but might make a rest more comfortable."

"The room was comfortable and had all the amenities needed to relax after a day skiing. The sofa bed was comfortable and easy to get out and put away. The bathroom was basic, but provided a lovely warm shower and the hotel spa facilities were good, although the outdoor pool could have been a bit warmer. The village has some great restaurants and bars, if a little light on entertainment spaces, but a short lift ride up to 2000 provided more of this if needed. It was also great to visit some of the on-piste bars and restaurants for some mid ski refreshment. "

"Just returned from a 4 night break at the PopAlp. We had an amazing stay at this hotel, we were greeted by Nicolas on reception who was warm and welcoming, he was so helpful and could not do enough for us, he is a credit to the hotel. "Great hotel for skiing holiday. Room had ample space for family of 4. Was worried about single bunk beds for my older teenagers but they were fit for purpose. Lots of storage for clothes and luggage. Wish there was more hooks for hanging up towels though. Overall very happy with our Christmas skiing holiday. Close to piste/gondola, town, restaurants... Very impressed with the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!"
